Performances by renowned pianist David Osborne and rockers V Squared featuring two 11-year-old twin brothers (Vittorio and Vincenzo) from Santa Rosa, CA were the musical highlights
of the 24th Annual Awards held last Wednesday at the Hollywood Avalon.
V Squared brought the house down with the amped-up rock set with showed nerve and humor in equal amounts. Talented beyond their years, the young rockers performed like veteran champs. When they band received their award, they spoke of worshipping AC/DC and wearing out a copy of “Back in Black.”

The Los Angeles Music Awards, now in it's 24th year, is a media branding company that seeks to publicly represent qualified, independent artists and bands for mass media opportunities related to the production of our yearly series of on-going press events in Los Angeles. The events are held in multiple Hollywood area locations, and offer LAMMA preferred clients the biggest audiences at the most prestigious venues. The organization also extend offers of participation in additional high profile press events for those who have the talent and resources to become celebrities in the fields of music, television and film.
The Los Angeles Music Awards was the first event of its kind that presented a Grammy style format for lesser known artists or bands. The LAMMA's business model is identical to counterparts at the Producers Guild of America Awards, the Director's Guild of America Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Golden Globe Awards. Like those other programs, the LAMMA too is based on ad campaigns and event support. Like them as well, it's a program requires you to have a superb product to win a nomination, and then the popularity to become an award recipient. The process is challenging, and it requires active participation in at least three of its yearly press events. Therefore, since 1991, the LAMMA's nominees have always been asked to do the very basics when it comes to their own publicity and promotion: attend all of its press events during the red carpet event production year.
Every year since 1991, LAMMA dedicate its program to the memory of Bill Gazzarri, the Godfather of Rock n' Roll. May he rest in peace.
